Try reading the docs that came with the installation for ideas how to start. The docs should be located in a Help directory folder in the CodeWarrior folder. You'll want to look at the Power Arch Build Tools reference manual and the manual with Targeting in the title. (The manual names very somewhat between CW distributions, but Targeting is the consistent term used in all of them.) These will give the information you need--particuarly the Targeting manual--on how to build a program. Also check out the Quick Start document, located in the CodeWarrior folder.

For exhaustive reference information on the PowerPC architecture, along with downloadable docs, check out this link.

I've attached a PowerPC Family: A Programmer's Reference Guide which might not be the exact title you're looking for, but it has a basic summary of the registers and instruction set.
