Context: Older CodeWarrior installers (that were released before the Freescale-NXP merger) have Eclipse Update Sites links that point to the obsolete freescale.com servers. These are no longer available, and the links need to be updated to point to the NXP servers. This document will guide you through this process.
Below instructions refer to the CodeWarrior Power Architecture 10.5.1 product but the same steps are valid for all older CodeWarrior installers.
- Go to Help/Install New Software menu
- Select the Available Software Sites link
- Select the Eclipse Update Site and Edit.
- In the Location address, replace the freescale.com text with cache.nxp.com. Then press OK twice, until you go back to the Available Software window.
- Select the updated Eclipse Update Site and install as usual
