Hi

I need help on Processor Expert setting for MC68HC908QG8 microcontroller.  This controller has 4 timer channels.  When I use two timers as PWM output, other two timers are not available to use by Processor Expert.  Can you help how to set all four timers independently by Processor Expert?

Thanks!

Perhaps you are trying to use the channels as buffered channels? Doing this only allows the use of 2 PWM channels as setting it to buffered requires channels 0/1 to be linked or 2/3 to be linked.

Hello,

I believe you may have made an error.  The MC68HC908QG8 does not exist.  Perhaps you mean MC68HC9S08QG8?  If so, this device has only two TPM channels, according to its data sheet.

Hi Mac

You were right.  It should be MC68HC908QB8.  Sorry about that.

Four TIM channels should be programmable independently.  But processor expert only allow me to use two of four channels.  When I signed two TIM channels as PWM output, then remaining two TIM channels are not avaiable to use.  Don't know why and how to resolve by processor expert.   Any suggestion?
