When is Freescale going to release a OSBDM dll that will support the MCF51 Flexis family???

I know the built-in debugger is based on the 9S08 debugger, so the OSBDM hardware should work with the the Flexis coldfire parts.

Are they just trying to protect the margins of the over-priced third party tools or have they given up on the small customers and hobbyist by only offering 1/2 support?

Regards,

Hello all, I have been recently assigned to support OSBDM on the forums.   We are still having some internal discussion relating to OSBDM, and we are waiting on posting anything to the forums till the discussion is complete.  Please be patient.

Thanks!

My appologies to Freescale.

The new CW version 6.2 that was just released does support the OSBDM connection.

Now, we just need to make it work with the OSBDM connection.

FWIW, we do have a person recently assigned to handle OSBDM support. I've forwarded this forum thread to him. He's plenty busy, so I can't vouch for when he might get to this. But he has been made aware of the issue.
