Using MK66FN2M0VLQ18 in place of MK64FN1M0VMD12

The project i am working now uses  MK64FN1M0VMD12  as  device. Now i want to replace it with  MK66FN2M0VLQ18. I am using codewarrior 10.6. I just want to know how it can be done.

I think the best way is creating a new project about  MK66FN2M0VLQ18,

then copy and paste the application code into it , build and fix error, debug to

check whether function can work well .
