Some more little problems with PE's simulator in CW 5.1

Hi
since i am a "simulator" i noticed some more problems with the PE simulator:

For HC08QBx: the ADDI and the ADCLR commands are not implemented -> Error: No such command.

For HCS08QD4: simulator does not know this device in the patched CW 5.1 version (device is
missing!) (it is hard to figure out the real version of the CW i think it is
the version 5.7....). the strange thing is that it worked before i have
updated it recently.

I hope the version 5.2 will work!

Hi Joerg,

1) ADDI and ADCLR ? I did not found this instruction in QBx datasheet

2) I have CW 5.1. with last patches and QD4 is present in simulator.. Strange.
Could you log ServiceRequest for this? Attach full version description to it.
To do that you must:
* CW:
Start the IDE and click on Help | About Metrowerks CodeWarrior.
Click on Installed Products
Provide us all info displayed.
Or you can save them in a txt file.

Thanx

Hi Phoenix

ADDI and ADCLR are simulation commands to load the AD values into a simulation. They are not MPU commands. PE has simply forgotten to implemet them. I have also written a service request for that case.

The QD4 simulation is working now. I had to download the QD4 update again. I think the recent update function did not download this patch -> Thanks Nina!

Thankx for info. Do you log the SR directly to PE or to Freescale (in this case what is SR number please?)

Hello

I would highly recommend you to submit the defect to either P&E or to Freescale if you want to make sure the issue is fixed in next build.

To log the issue with P&E, go to their Web site (www.pemicro.com) and use their support page to log the issue.

You need to submit a service request  for that.

To log the issue with Freescale please go to following URL:
    http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/homepage.jsp?nodeId=054670&tid=FSH
and click on "Submit a service request"

Dear CrasyCat
i know that, but i think ti is important for other users to kown such issues.
It would be nice if the forwarding of this kind of errors goes directly this way.
