Search/Find in File Crashes CW HC(s)08 v 5.7.0

Often when I use the search/find in files command in the "new improved" CW IDE the program crashes and of course loses everything since my last save (AAAARRRRG!)  This obviously is very annoying and never happened in the previous version (3.1).   Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a service pack since that fixed this bug?  Should I junk the new version and re-install 3.1?

I'm not sure what could be causing this problem except for an obscure bug that prevented more than search using regular expressions.

I can only suggest that you send a bug report to find out more about this problem. To submit a service request:

1. Go to http://freescale.com/support

2. In the Develop column, click "Technical Support."

3. Click "Submit a service request."

I have an old CodeWarrior for HCS12 which also crashes in "Find in Files" (Don't know the version number). But that's not a problem for me. I never use this "feature" :smileywink:. I use this instead: http://desktop.yahoo.com/
