Hallo,
I've just downloaded and installed the new CW08 V5.0 Patch  Release date: 2/22/2006 and I've found that without the patch, some constant variables gone into the ROM, now, with the patch, instead they go into RAM.
Does anyone discovered the same?

Bye

Hello
  That is strange.
Did you check constant definition and declaration.
Are their compatible (defining and declaring the constant in the same section)?

If you cannot find it yourself, please submit a service request through our on-line support web page.
make sure to attach a project reproducing the trouble and the installed product document.
To retrieve that document:
  - Start the IDE
  - Select "Help" -> "About Freescale CodeWarrior"
  - Click on "Installed Products"
  - Click on save As, save the installed product information to a file.
