Looking for PE Micro unit_16z.dll

Hi everyone;

Someone made a patch for CodeWarrior that allowed use of USB Multilink hardware.

I lost the dll due to another WD hard drive failure (still have the patch files tho).

I've tried contacting PE but their response was "we don't keep older files like that".

Could anyone send me a copy of the DLL?

Thanks in advance!

I know the file is from PE, my thoughts in asking were hoping one of the members might have it.

I have 3 PE interfaces, (1) Parallel, (2) USB CPU16/32 Multilink, (3) USB Multilink FX;

I'm using CodeWarrior IDE 4.1 for the Motorola HC16.

Before having to recover the hard drive I had a patch using unit_16z.dll (for the HC16) that permitted me to use the USB device(s).   This is similar to the HC12 (unit_12z.dll).

Hoping someone might have the file :-)

Hay, you took me away back in time :-) I tried to look in my old data files when I used this line, but, sorry, no success...

I hope someone still have it

Yes, for sure it's too old. I checked my computer I don't have.

Let's leave the post here and see if someone else can help you.

Hello E.M

I am using PE USB multilink too, and have no problem with CW. Unless your CW is a very old version, or using old windows version,  try to run again the multilink_universal_install.exe file again, it should re-install the files you need for CW.

HI,

This file unit_16z.dll is produced by P&E, we don't have the backup.

But from your description, you meet problem of running CW with P&E tools.

What version of CW do you work with?

what's your windows platform?

which P&E probe do you work with?

Let's see if we can help you in another way.

Have a great day,
Jun Zhang
