Enable Trace And Profile In CW11.1 for 56F817XX

Hi

  I'm new to NXP DSC ,I Just linked a MCF81000-EVK and debug on board OpenSDA .

 The chip is 56F81768 ,Currently debuging the <MC56F81000-EVK-DEMO-EXAMPLES> .

 I want to know how to enable "Trace and Profile" Option for further debug information

HI Bensen 

This device doesn't support trace and profile feature.

This feature is supported on the device where the DBG  module includes a trace buffer.

    Thanks for your reply ! 

    As you noticed , this device does not support trace function . Is there a way to count the code excution steps ? This is the most debug function I concerned about .

  For instance , I implement a c  code PID controller , I wantto evaluate its code efficiency compare to asmbley code ,how to check this in debug mode  ? 

 Please help!
