CW4.7 HCS12 - Special addition availble, but what about standard/pro?

Hi,

I noted that there was a "special addition of CW4.7 for the HCS12 CPUs. When will 4.7 be available for standard/pro?

Hello

In fact if you want to use a V4.7 standard or professional edition all you need is:

  - download CodeWarrior for HC12 V4.7 special edition (or evaluation version)

  - Install the software

  - If you have a valid support contract, go to your licensing page

      ("My Freescale" -> "CodeWarrior Licensing")

  - Click on the button "License Options" next to your suite entitlement ID and get a new license for 

     CodeWarrior HC12.

  - Copy the license you get in your V4.7 installation directory

That should be it.

I did not try it because the site claimed that the tool had 32K limit. I suppose you cannot believe everything you see on the FS site.  I tried it w/my license and it functions very well in Vista with the Cyclone Pro.

Hello

Well the good news with that is that we only have one installation layout.

The features are locked/unlocked with the content of the license file.  

So installing an evaluation version and placing a permanent license in the installation directory will remove the time limitation
