CW 6.3 and S08PT

Hello!

Is there a way to build projects with CW 6.3 and S08PT MCU? I can not find an entry for this MCU.

Hello Ingo,

It appears that the MC9S08P family is not among the list of devices supported by Classic CW 6.3.  However the device family does appear to be included within the list for the Eclipse version of CW.

Maybe this omission is the "thin end of the wedge" of discontinued support for the Classic version.

It's what bigmac said. I've downloaded both the CW for MCUs v 6.3 (Classic) and CW for MCUs v10.2 (Eclipse) and there's a service pack for Eclipse that adds support for the S08Px family. I have not seen an equivalent service pack for the Classsic CW IDE.
