Most recent CW Version for S12XF MCUs?

Hi everybody,

I'm getting started with FlexRay development using a S12XF 2-Node Starter Kit. While waiting for the shipment to arrive, I began searching for the best suitable IDE for the projekt. Since the projet is in evaluation phase, there is no budget on a IDE unfortunately. Therefore I searched for a "Special Edition" of CodeWarrior and stumbled upon the Special Edition: CodeWarrior for HCS12(X) Microcontrollers (Classic). After installation I discovered, that the descriptor "Classic" implies, that it is a rather old Version of CW, which is understandable as the S12XF Series isn't that new either.

Considering that, my question is the following: Is there a more recent and free Version (preferrably based on Eclipse) that supports the S12XF MCU Family other than Special Edition: CodeWarrior for HCS12(X) Microcontrollers (Classic)?

Hi Julian,

So far , the Eclipse can not support S12X mucs.

The latest version is the CWS12V5.1 which you mentioned.
