How is CW V6.3 & V4.7 installed in Windows 10, 32/64 bit?

CW installs in W10/32.

The dongle licensing procedure fails.

License files that work in Windows XP seem to be in error.

CW will not install in W10/64.

Setup fails, and says nothing was installed.

No reason is given.

Why is Windows 10 such a problem?

What is needed to resolve this?

I need to support old projects, and possibly create new ones.

Which Codewarrior versions for the above chips run under Windows 10?

For 8bit MCU, we recommend CW11

CodeWarrior® for Microcontrollers-Eclipse IDE 11.1 | NXP 

For 16bit MCU, we recommend CW5.2

CodeWarrior® Dev Tools for HCS12(X) MCUs | NXP 

above two versions can support win10.

Not so good news concerning CW6.3

Good news however, concerning CW5.2.

Q1: Where can I download CW5.2?

Q2: Will my 4.7 license.dat work with CW5.2?

Q3: If not, please send a license.dat for CW5.2, with the same 4.7 capabilities.

CW6.3 and 4.7 doesn't support win10.

do you start a new project or work on the old project? these two versions are too old. are those the must for you?

I would recommend new versions that can support win10 for you based on your chip.
