Hello Manoj
There are some improvements on hardware design between different reversions, especially to minimize ESD harming.
For example, Rev E introduced a hardware redesign, but maintains complete software and firmware compatibility. The goal was a more robust USBTAP which could better handle unwanted static discharges, and better shielded from electromagnetic interference.
Release notes from Rev E:
- Software compatible with existing UTAPS (no need for CodeWarrior upgrade)
- Converted USB Type B connector to a USB Micro B connector (this will minimize ESD harming the unit)
- More robust target cable (this will reduce susceptibility to EMI)
- Plastic Case (this will minimize ESD harming the unit)
Rev F fixed one specific electrical issue with on flavor on PA processors introduced in the Rev E redesign.
