Can't select both cores for MPC5646C in CW 10.2 !!

Why can't I select both cores when setting up a project for MPC5646C (CW 10.2) ?

I am using PE Multilink Universal Debugger.

I can debug both cores in CW 2.10 and 10.6 (trial version). I have installed the update for Codewarrior 10.2 as descirbed here: CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers v10.2|Freescale

I also installed the service pack for MPC5646C.

Please help!!

Hi Lino,

I've contacted a colleague and it seems the MCU v10.2 didn't support the asymmetric multiprocessing at debugger side.

So all dual cores that includes e.g. z0+z4 (MPC5646C) or Z0+z6 (MPC5668G/E) cannot debug dualcore application

It has been implemented since CW for MCU v10.5  - If I remember correctly.

Hi Lino,

MCU V10.2 is an old version.

It seems the MCU v10.6 and CW for MPC55xx/56xx V2.10 are working fine.

Is there a reason you're using the MCU v10.2 ?
