Update from 7.3 to 8.x worth the money and time

Hi there,

I used CW 7.3 for a DSC56F8345 in the past

Starting the next Project i wonder if i should update to the newest Version of CW. Looking at the feature list i can´t find much new things.

Moreover i wonder what is the Difference between standard and professional addition.

Can anybody give me more Information?

Sorry for the delay in replying. I had to track this down. According to the engineer, for CW for DSC, there is not a Professional Edition, only a Standard Edition. That is, Standard Edition = Professional Edition. The Standard Edition is bundled with the Professional Suite, which is probably the source of confusion. If you only need the DSC tools, buy the Standard Suite. HTH.
