Hi
You may like to look at the uTasker. It is an operating system with integrated TCP/IP stack - designed especially for single chip processors with embedded EMAC for IP control applications. [freescale MC9S12NE64 and M5223X are supported and projects can be moved between the two by simply setting one compiler switch]. Its most important feature is a real time chip simulator which allows complete embedded IP projects to be developed and tested on the PC (saving typically 60% of development time).
See the following posting for details and links to on-line demos:
http://forums.freescale.com/freescale/board/message?board.id=CFCOMM&message.id=274
The solution is free for educational and other non-commercial work (see licensing terms and application form in posting) - it can also be evaluated under this license agreement and free email support is included.
If you are not using the above chips it will probably work but will be a bit of a waste of its most powerful features. Support would then not be included.
