DSP56F801 flash_over_jtag and XP

I'm trying to use the latest version of the 'flash_over_jtag' application (Epsilon 0.7) to program two daisy chained DSP56F801's. The application ran on PC's using Window 2000. We have now upgraded to XP and the application will no longer work.

Whenever I try to run the application, I get the following error:

I/O port driver not installed

Installing...

I/O port driver cannot be started

Unable to access to I/O driver

Hi,

do you have admin rights on your computer? Is it 32 or 64 bit version of XP (the program was not tested on 64-bit XP at all).

Hi Daniel,

I've solved the problem. Somehow the zlportio.sys file had been corrupted. I downloaded a new copy and replaced it, now everything works. Obvious really.
