Codewarrior12 V3.0 and USB-MIL-12E(Rev C) communication problem.

Codewarrior12 V3.0 with HC12 hiwave is not getting communicated with the programmer USB-MIL-12E.I am getting an error message as Communication to ICD-12 failed (ICD-12 is not connected or has no power)

If anyone know the solution for this problem please do reply me

You first might want to try downloading version 5.1 of the CodeWarrior for HC12X tools to see if the old version of CodeWarrior does not recognize that particular run controller. The Special Edition of v5.1 is free.

I tried out your comment and found my programmer to be woking with version V5.1 of CodeWarrior.

Is there any option for directly upgrading my software CW12 V3.0 to the version V5.1?

If you have not wiped out your v3 CodeWarrior folder yet, try moving the license.dat file from it to the v5 folder. If that works, then you are set.
