Need more info here.
Presumably you are driving the GT clock from the radio?
If so what is the frequency, it is a selectable division of the xtal in the radio.
Did you mean 16KHz or MHz?
Are the frequencies you quote, clock or buss?
Approx. 8MHz is the default clock speed out of reset if this gives any clue.
P.S. putting the code in a source box give fixed width font which makes the arrows line up.
