Trouble connecting JB16 to USB multilink

I developed a prototype using the HC908JB16 microcontroller but I can´t use the USB multilink to load my program to the Flash memory of such device. I have to use the serial monitor?. The manual do not mention any connection to a DBM or USB connector

What is the part no. of the USB Multilink that you have?

When you wrote DBM did you mean BDM? (JB16 doesn't have this)

What software are you using to programme it?

We are using Code warrior for HC(S)08  to develop the application, but it does not recognize the P&E USB Multilink neither the BDM Multilink. The fact sheet for this device says the correct one is the USBmultilink08, among others. Thanks for your advice.

Have you installed the latest P&E drivers for the USB Multilink you are trying to use? You can find drivers on a cd that probably came with your Multilink device, or you can download them from P&E's website.

If the drivers are properly installed, you should see the blue LED on your Multilink come on.
