Hello FC,
Yes, I have the QG8 Demoboard for some time; had no issues with this after updating my CodeWarrior for the support of the device. Comes complete with Codewarrior and an on-board BDM interface with USB connection. Board is also powered in this way.
Just finishing my first design with the QG8; received some samples a few weeks back, seems to go very smooth. Nice device to work with.
Board are on stock and orderable at Avnet Silica in Europe.

I recieved the board, but cannot connect to it from CodeWarrior. The debugger locks up. The driver is installed fine and the demo program is running.
Any ideas?
Hi Jazz,
Not entirely sure what you mean by hooked. Yes of course you can pull out the chip and use it in another board. Also there has been other discussions on using the QG8 demo board as a "cheaper than P&E" BDM adapter for use with QG8's and others. That is, using the demo board to facilitate programming and debugging other chips mounted in circuit on other boards with a BDM header fitted.
