MC9S08AC ADC power pins

If the ADC of an S08 MCU with external VDDAD and VSSAD power pins is not used, do the pins need to be left floating or do they need to be connected. If they need to be connected, connected to what? The data sheet does not specify.

Hello,

The ADC power pins should be connected to the processor power pins if unused.

It is often this way when it is used as well, although it would be done with particular attention paid to noise etc from the digital side.
