Can no longer connect TWR-S08DC-PT60 to CW after programmming flash

Product: CodeWarrior for MCU

  Version: 10.6

  Build Id:140329

Target Board: TWR-S08DC-PT60

Reproducible Steps:

After using the board (stand-alone) in debug mode, I then tried to program the code using the flash programmer.

After this, I can no longer connect to the target board.

The windows Device Manager does show: PEMicro USB Serial Port (i1)

I can't see any other related device or enumerated Com port under device manager (should I ?)

Could my code have locked out the on board BDM?

The code did a simple led flash, which worked fine under debug.

Attached are the diagnostic files...

regards

Russell

HI Vicente - I haven't been on the forum for a while (new login name). Yes I am still battling with this. I do see the driver has been installed in Device Manager.

Another question: Can I use this board as a standalone OSBDM for a MC9S08PA60 device?

I see in the schematic of the TWR-S08DC-PT60 to remove J9 and J10 jumpers. Can I then connect my MC9S08PA60 board to the Target BDM Interface (J7) ?

many thanks

Russell

regarding to the problem to program the PT60 on the board, you need to check the reset line, check if this is putting in low, if not you need to try to force it (reset line) to low in order to enter to debug mode.

I hope this will help you.
