Yes i'm talking about repairing "P&E Micro's USB probe".
And, yes, in the lab there's another "P&E Micro's USB probe" so I could check that my target board is working correctly and it does comunicate with "P&E probe".
So the problem is truly located on the P&E probe.
Maybe there's a single component which is protecting the Vdd pin against overvoltages (like a zener or similar) and this component might be burned and now shorted to ground.
If I connect Vdd pin to +5V it drains 0.77Amps but the P&E probe doesn't detect the 5V.
If anyone could help....
