Have any of you used a SPIFI as a general SPI to communicate with external devices (such as EEPROM)?

I'm checking a spec of QN9080, however the number of SPI is not sufficient. Therefore, I'm checking the spec of SPIFI.

According to the UM, SPIFI supports two operational modes which are Memory mode and Command mode. The command mode is a mode whereby the user can manually construct command sequences for the flash. Therefore, I think I can use SPIFI as a general SPI by using the command mode.

Could you please advise me on this...

Best regards,

Yoshi

Is there a specific reason why you do not use the available CSS ?

Regards,
Estephania
