      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can use the pin as a GPIO and still use the ADC. As stated in the&amp;nbsp;User manual of the QN9080 page&amp;nbsp;426, that capacitor if added will only act as a filter for the bandgap.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="userManualCapacitor.PNG"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/69837i4B5B8FE12064167F/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="userManualCapacitor.PNG" alt="userManualCapacitor.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Estephania&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The capacitor it's only intended if you will be using the bandgap voltage, the ADC can work with a reference that it's not the bandgap one, so it does not have to do with the&amp;nbsp;effective number of bits.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The capacitor should be added if you are planning to use the bandgap and if you want the bandgap to be really accurate, the capacitor will only filter the noise.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Estephania&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
