Does KW41z support 8 BLE Peripheral connection concurrently?

Hi,

I am evaluating BLE v4.2 on KW41z module.

Does BLE stack on this module in Central mode support 8 simultaneous peripheral connections in round robin mode?

For example, Central connects to each peripheral once and iterates over them at rate of 7.5 milliseconds of connection interval.

No, KW41Z supports up to 2 simultaneous hardware connections.

Could you tell me the reasoning behind only being able to have two simultaneous connections on the KW41Z?

Is it due to memory limitations?

Hi Jaco,

The KW41z was designed for support up to 2 simultaneous hardware connections.

But if you are looking for a design that support more than 2 simultaneous connections you can take a look to the QN9020.

QN9020 is in the Central role, it shall support eight connections at the same time.
