Hi NXP Team

I wanna test the RX/TX S11 parameters of KW45.I have some quetion about the setting.

1. what is the output power of VNA in this case and why the LNA gain set to maximum ?

2.For the TX ,why here set ouput power to minimum? If my output power is 10dbm,do I need to set the

output power to 10dbm when testing the TX S11?

3.For KW45,is there any load-pull doc or parameters to share?

4.Can you share the impedance matching guidance Doc?

Hi, @Lingyinglu

1.why the LNA gain set to maximum ?

==>The LNA gain set to maximum is to ensure we have better gain and better return loss in RX mode. In this way, there is least signal loss.

2. For the TX ,why here set ouput power to minimum?

==> As I know, we need to protect RF components, do not suggest to set too high output power during test TX mode. But I believe there should be other reasons about setting to minimum. I need to check internally.

3.For KW45,is there any load-pull doc or parameters to share?

==》Sorry， I didn't get your point. Can you give me more details?

4.Can you share the impedance matching guidance Doc?

==> About the impedance matching, please refer to Figure 90. RF matching in page 72 of AN13228 ( KW45B41Z-EVK RF System Evaluation Report for Bluetooth Low Energy Applications.)

Best regards,

Christine.
