Hi,
We used a hybrid REED device example of NXP SDK version 2.6.4 to develop one custom application. Now we want an upgrade the REED End device's Openthread version from 1.1 to 1.3.

If we use SDK v2.6.9, then we fulfill this requirement? Or is there any other way to upgrade Opthread version?

How to check the Openthred version in SDK?

Can anyone help me to understand this?

Hello.

I have moved your post to the relevant community as it is related to wireless connectivity.

As I said on the ot-nxp post, in the latest SDK releases, we removed the SDK OT hybrid examples because we switched focus to Matter as the hybrid OT+BLE apps for K32W0x1 family. We also fully switched to ot-nxp app development which uses the SDK and exercise similar features to the older OT hybrid examples. You can find them here .

I am analyzing your request to see what's the best path for you, to have your older REED hybrid example ported to ot-nxp apps or to have a patched SDK that can run with your application with the latest OT stack. I would incline to the first as it would align your implementation to future releases.

As for the stack version in 2.6.4, I can confirm that it's OT 1.1 certified, but on an older commit.

BR,
