&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Do the battery related pins VBAT1, VBAT2 and VBAT need to be connected to a 5V source or can they be left unused?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Need to be connected to&amp;nbsp; a 5V source.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please kindly refer to the&amp;nbsp;12.5.3.2 Configuration 2: supply connection in case a 5 V supply is used to generate RF field with the use of TXLDO of the datasheet as the link.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>PN7150 working without battery.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm developing a PCB circuit with a microcontroller and the NFC PN7150.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My hardware doesn't need a battery to work, so my question is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do the battery related pins VBAT1, VBAT2 and VBAT need to be connected to a 5V source or can they be left unused?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't find any information on that subject, so it is assumed that there will always be a backup battery.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any comment or suggestion is welcome&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
