Hi, I hope you're doing well!

NXP products support a variety of Wireless Communications Protocols, like Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Thread, among others. Depending on the family and device, some devices support different combinations of these protocols, but all of them adhere to their corresponding specification.

In the case of the Bluetooth Low Energy devices, like the KW38 family of MCUs, the Bluetooth Low Energy stack they run was designed to comply with Bluetooth Core Specification V5.0, which allows for connection with other devices adhering to the Bluetooth Core Specification.

Please let me know if you need any more information about a specific device.

Best regards,

Sebastián
