      <title>Vybrid Linux BSP Support for eMMC</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We wish to use eMMC with the Vybrid.Does the linux BSP(s) from &lt;A _jive_internal="true" data-containerid="-1" data-containertype="-1" data-objectid="214905" data-objecttype="3" href="https://community.nxp.com/people/timesyssupport"&gt;Timesys Support&lt;/A&gt; support eMMC memory technologies currently?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From different forum posts, it seems a bit unclear if this support is in place or not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please clarify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MQX does not support this in their BSP;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/thread/357992"&gt;Vybrid, eMMC, MQX&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TimeSys has commented a similar request at an earlier stage&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/thread/357545"&gt;How to use both sdhc0 and sdhc1?&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I.Mx Sabre Board with Linux seems to support this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/thread/324387"&gt;Booting Linux from eMMC&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Andreas Eknes Lie&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Andreas,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While there is support for some eMMC devices in the 3.13 Linux kernel in the Timesys BSP, this support is not specifically enabled for the Vybrid platform. At a minimum, supporting this would require modifying the kernel configuration and device tree source.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Timesys Support&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
