Reading the MVF50NN151CMK40 reference manual I ran across the feature called "Memory Repair".

See page 801, section 18.4.6 of this link:

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/VYBRIDRM.pdf?fasp=1

The RM describes when it happens, how it is aborted and so on, but I do not understand what it does and why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
