Hello,

Customer is inquiring about the availability of manufacturing test software that verifies Vybrid's Security features. Specifically, code that exercises the RNG feature of the Cryptographic Acceleration and Assurance Module (CAAM). Do we have any such software that can be provided to the customer?

Alternatively, MQX based sample code would suffice. Neither MQX nor the Linux BSP appear to support Vybrid CAAM. Are there plans for those BSPs to support CAAM?

Timesys mentions supporting CAAM but not having completed validation in this community post:

https://community.freescale.com/message/349186#349186

Can Timesys provide an update?

Thanks,

Hari

Hari Arimilli

Field Applications Engineer

Freescale Semiconductor

Cell: 612.743.1614

Email: Hari.Arimilli@freescale.com

We currently do not have software that validates CAAM with the Linux kernel. We do not currently have an estimate to when this will be available as our engineering efforts are focused on updating to an LTS kernel for Vybrid. The customer is welcome to work with us under a services agreement if this is a time-sensitive issue.

Thanks,

Timesys Support
