    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear support,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We assume that the EXT_TAMPER0-5 are for access the fuse which is already blown,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can we connect these directly to the GND, in case we don't use this function?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the reference board, this was connected to the GND via 10Kohm resister,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is this resister necessary?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keisuke&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

If they are not being used in your system, you should tie them to ground. The resistors are on the tower board to allow for flexibility of connecting them to VDD to try out the tamper capabilities. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Anthony&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
