Some manufacturers will guarantee that a chip will be in production through at least 2030 for example. We have a customer which might benefit from 802.11mc wifi positioning, but I am not clear how much adoption this standard is getting. We want to make sure that if we build a system with one of these chips that it will stay in production.</P><P>Does anyone know if such guarantees have been made? I was not able to find a full datasheet for the chip which might have this information.
