[88W9098] - Do this module can support openwrt ?

Hi NXP community :

We have new production , and will use wifi module(use 88W9098 DB CDW 2x2 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1)

and we got the source code from "PCIE-WLAN-UART-BT-9098-U16-X86-17.68.1.p38-17.26.1.p38-MXM4X17222.P1_V0V1-GPL" , and we try to merge to Openwrt system , but encounter difficulty , it's hard to merge .

I check Makefile and find below

# OpenWrt support
CONFIG_OPENWRT_SUPPORT=n

Does this mean not support for openwrt system ?

And if I can generate *.ko on Linux system first, then push these *.ko file to embedded system ?
