Hi all,

I am using MPC5604B starter trak. I followed the installation instructions given in the corresponding pdf downloaded from the TFC 2012 website. i tried downloading the sample program given in the same website. when i choose Project--->Debug, as mentioned in the instuctions, i get 3 windows - code, status, cpu. but in addition to these, i'm getting a 4th window PEMICRO connection manager. in this window, if i give connect, i get a msg in the status window that "Device cannot be connected".

Also, in the hyperterminal, i chose COM1 and gave the values specified in the instructions. wat does this do with the kit?

I could understand the sample program and i'm confident of doing the main program. but i couldn't understand the operation of the software with the kit while downloading.

I beg for some savior's help as i have not even downloaded a single program into the kit i received still.

Thanks in advance.
