      <title>RAMBoot for T2080RDB</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a T2080RDB based custom board.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use QorIQ-SDK-v1.8-SOURCE-20150619-yocto for building UBoot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to try the things explained in the 'doc/README.ramboot-ppc85xx' file&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The document explains 'Necessary Code changes Required:' in it for P1020/P2020/P1010 RDB.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone help me how to do the same for T2080RDB?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to do the changes in the code(The points 1, 2, 3 explained in the document). Particularly, the below point&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;1. File name-&amp;gt; boards.cfg&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; There can be added specific Make options for RAMBoot. We can keep different&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; options for the two cases mentioned above.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; for example&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; P1020RDB_JTAG_RAMBOOT and P1020RDB_GO_RAMBOOT.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Flaby&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

It is same as in SSDK1.8&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #51626f; font-family: arial, helvetica, 'helvetica neue', verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;I want to try the 2nd method explained in the document as follows,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;2. Load the RAM based bootloader onto DDR using already existing bootloader on&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #4fcddc;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; the board.And then execute the bootloader from DDR.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I do it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FYI: My board is already booted with UBoot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Flaby&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

This definition is used if CONFIG_RAMBOOT_SDCARD or CONFIG_RAMBOOT_SPIFLASH is set.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt; color: black;"&gt;Set the CONFIG_SYS_RAMBOOT definition and do not use definitions CONFIG_RAMBOOT_SDCARD or CONFIG_RAMBOOT_SPIFLASH.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt; color: black;"&gt;The RAMBOOT u-boot does not contain code for DDR initialization.
