GPIBE-Register on T4240

I have problems to change the value of the GPIO3_GPIBE Register on a T4240 processor. Writing any value to this register does effect nothing, I always read back 0 from this Register.

Any idea, whats wrong?

Check the RCW on your board. Are the GPIO3 pins assigned to GPIO?

Check settings the RCW bit 416 – 420 using the DCFG_CCSR_RCWSRn registers.

The RCW is OK. I get the value of the port pin in the GPIO data Register (GPIO3_GPDAT). The problem is, that if GPIO3_GPIBE is zero, the value of the port pin should not be seen in the GPIOx_GPDAT Register. As I wrote above, reading the GPIOx_GPIBE register always returns zero, writing has no effect to this register, it seems, as if the GPIOx_GPIBE register is not implemented.
