Dear NXP Support Team,

I am currently working with the NXP T2080 QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto SDK. While building the SDK, I encountered the following error:

Machine: t2080qds

Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

In recipe sources/meta-freescale/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-qoriq_4.1.bb, SRC_URI should be defined as the following.

SRC_URI = "git://git.freescale.com/ppc/sdk/linux.git;branch=sdk-v2.0.x"

Yes, the SRC_URI in the source file sources/meta-freescale/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-qoriq_4.1.bb is defined exactly as you mentioned:

SRCREV = "bd51baffc04ecc73f933aee1c3a37c8b44b889a7"

However, when I checked git.freescale.com, I was unable to locate the repository as it seems to be inactive or no longer available.

Could you please confirm if there is any patch file or updated repository for the latest source? If the repository is no longer available, could you guide me on the alternative source or replacement from where we should fetch the kernel?

Your guidance on this would be much appreciated.

I did verification on my Linux PC, there is no problem to get Linux Kernel source code.

I installed ISOs "QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0 SOURCE.iso" and "QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0-1703.tar.bz2", then run the following commands to get Linux Kernel source code successfully.

$ source ./fsl-setup-env -m t2080qds

$ bitbake virtual/kernel -c patch -f

The source code tar balls are provided in the SOURCE ISO, no need to download them from the networking. Did you touch "downloads" folder in the installation folder? Please check whether "downloads/git2/git.freescale.com.ppc.sdk.linux.git" exist?

Please remove your current installation folder and install "QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0 SOURCE.iso" and "QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0-1703.tar.bz2" again.

Thanks for the input. I am now able to build the SDK successfully.

I have one additional query:
What changes are required in this SDK to configure both PCIe controllers to operate as Root Complex?
