Hello,

We have designed custom hardware based on T1024 (No CPLD). Power-on sequence is per datasheet....We are getting random behavior while accessing the processor through code warrior.....Sometimes code is getting written on NAND and SPI flash and sometimes error comes (like wrong alogrithm) ....

Is there specific document available which lists the sequence to be followed to download the code in Flash.

regards

Gaurav

Hello Gaurav,

For flash programing, you could follow the procedure Flash Programmer for CodeWarrior Power Architecture .

First please create a bareboard project in CodeWarrior IDE from File->New->CodeWarrior Bareboard Project Wizards. In Debug Target Setting panel, please select the Launch configuration as Download/Connect SRAM to download and run flash program algorithm in L2 to SRAM to avoid to use DDR.

If there is no valid RCW on the target board, please refer to the section "8.4 Setting up a remote system to use a JTAG configuration file" in C:\Freescale\CW_PA_v10.5.1\PA\Help\PDF\Targeting_PA_Processors.pdf to use JTAG configuration file to override RCW.

Thanks,

Yiping

Dear Yiping,

Thanks for the reply ..... i am now able to flash the SPI ....

Now, After making setting to boot from SPI, no SPI signal(MISO, MOSI, CS, CLK) is visible on Power on .... and HRESET remains asserted indefinitely...

What could be the possible reason for the same??

Regards

Gaurav
