How to access MDIO physical layer from Yocto?

Hi,

We have a T4080 based system and we are using the 88E1545 Ethernet controller from Marvel. Does anyone know how I can access the controller's registers from Linux? We have been able to access them using the mdio command from u-boot, but we need to do similar from Yocto. Is there any documentation on doing that?

I will take a look and update you on whether that helped me access the registers on the marvel chip.
