We need to configure SerDes protocol 0x08 as described in T1040 reference manual. But it is mentioned in a note in T1042RDBRM &lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Rev. 1, 12/2016&lt;/SPAN&gt; on page 20 that&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE class="jive_macro_quote jive-quote jive_text_macro"&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;NXP Linux Software Development Kit only supports 0x86 SerDes protocol.&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you clarify the significance of this statement?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
