Hi Experts:

In the following link:

Test mport driver for T4240 RapidIO

it mentioned that the SRIO driver provided in Linux Kernel is not suitable for T4240(uses RMAN as RapidIO messaging manager), it is only used for P4080(with RMU as message handler unit).

We'd better refer to SRA document to test SRIO driver under USDPAA section.

But to T2080, in SDK's release notes, it state to run SRA application, will depend on P3041DS/P4080DS/P5020DS/T4240QDS/B4860QDS, no T2080 board in the list.

So to T2080, if no SRA driver is avilible, do we have some other method to use rapidio port?

Many thanks!!

The T2080RDB board and the T2080QDS board do not support RapidIO. It is the reason that these boards were not tested for RapidIO using under SDK 2.0.

The T2080 RapidIO is similar to the P3041DS/P4080DS/P5020DS/T4240QDS/B4860QDS RapidIO. These driver from SDK 2.0 can be used on the T2080 board.

Have a great day,
Pavel Chubakov

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
