    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear Freescale,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I currently use MPX2010 in a dual port configuration.&amp;nbsp; I am looking to move to the MPX5010 with the integrated amplifier but had a few questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.) Is the sensor the same in the MPX2010 and the MPX5010?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.)       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Jason Haedt,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Answering to your questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL style="list-style-type: decimal;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;It is a very similar sensor with the difference (that you already noticed) that the MPX5010 is on-chip amplified, but both have the same pressure range and general functionality.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL style="list-style-type: decimal;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;It is actually very simple to interface the MPX5010 since it’s already amplified, temperature compensated and calibrated, so the only think you need to add are just a few capacitors (as seen on Figure 3 of the datasheet) and the signal goes directly to your mcu’s ADC.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Click &lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=MPXx5010&amp;amp;fpsp=1&amp;amp;tab=Documentation_Tab"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; to find all the documentation available for the MPX5010.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Jose Reyes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
