&lt;P&gt;The FXLS8974CF&amp;nbsp;targets industrial, medical and IoT market while the FXLS8967AF is recommended for general purpose automotive use cases.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Therefore, the FXLS8967&amp;nbsp;are specifically&amp;nbsp;PPAPed for automotive application, while the FXLS8974 is not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For the FXLS8974, you&amp;nbsp;may&amp;nbsp;notice FXLS8974 spec typical values are all the same as FXLS8967, with differences that&amp;nbsp;FXLS8967 spec puts a lot more restrictions with min/max limits for key specs like sensitivity and offset, power consumptions…&amp;nbsp;over the&amp;nbsp;operating&amp;nbsp;temperature range of -40deg to 105deg&amp;nbsp;for&amp;nbsp;automotive&amp;nbsp;environment, while FXLS8974 datasheet only specifies typical value at room temperature&amp;nbsp;for industry use over range of&amp;nbsp;-40deg to 105deg.&amp;nbsp;Refer to screen shots below.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Refer to below picture for differences on software side, all 2 variants have the same register map expect the FXLS8974&amp;nbsp;has a&amp;nbsp;minor change on REF_UPDM bits in SDCD block which makes it better fit for slow motion detection in IoT.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
