Hi,

Is it possible to update the firmware of NXP NTM88 through SPI interface?

Hi Markel,

according to UM11227, the NTM88 supports client SPI for host access to internal peripherals, registers, and memory.

Just to be clear, the answer is the NTM88 firmware can not be updated through SPI interface?

as I understand it, it is possible to update the firmware through the SPI interface.

Hi Jozef,

It does say write memory could be RAM. It does not say write to flash or non-volatile memory. There is no guide or application note that says firmware can be updated using SPI interface. Also, from what I know bootloader needs to support it.
